As part of Computer Science Education Week 2022, schools and districts across RI hosted and participated in various events and activities to inspire K-12 students to learn Computer Science, advocate for equity, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.

CS4RI Summit
Over 700 high school students attended the CS4RI Summit at the University of Rhode Island on December 21, 2022 to get excited and inspired about the possibilities of Computer Science in their future. Students experienced hands on activities, engaged with industry representatives, and learned from college student presentations.
CS Leaders Prize
Three RI Schools won $10,000 each for expanding computer science access!
Code.org has recognized three RI schools who are working hard to recover from the challenges faced by our education system over the past two years and support their goals to establish or expand access to computer science in their districts.
