A RIDE Computer Science (CS) endorsement allows certified teachers to add a credential to their teaching certification.

Educators must have completed a Professional Development (PD) program from at least one of the following providers in order to be eligible to apply for a CS endorsement:

• Code.org CS Discoveries

• Code.org AP CS Principles

• PLTW AP CS Principles

Upon completion of one or more of these programs, Code.org participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from the University of Rhode Island. PLTW participants must request a certificate of proof from URI.
