Rhode Island K-12 CS Education Standards

The Rhode Island Computer Science Education Standards endorsed by the Rhode Island Council for Elementary and Secondary Education, identify the knowledge, practices, and skills in computer science (CS) that all students should know and be able to do at each level in their education.  School districts now have access to standards that retain the rigorous and collaborative work of other national CS organizations yet also relate to the unique needs of Rhode Island.  Developed over the past year by a statewide Computer Science Education Standards Advisory Committee representing a broad range of expertise, the Standards have been developed to actively engage students in computer science.
