The CS4RI (Computer Science for Rhode Island) Summit aims to inspire the next generation of computer scientists, entrepreneurs, and engaged tech sector employees. The Summit will bring together middle school, high school, and college students, industry professionals, training providers, and community members to showcase projects, research, education, and career opportunities related to computer science and technology. Our goal is to excite students from across Rhode Island with the varied educational and career opportunities that result from studying CS, and celebrate computer science in action!

Update 10/29/18: Districts/Schools may request reimbursement grants up to $400 per bus to cover the cost of transportation to the CS4RI 2018 Summit. Grants will be awarded on a first come first serve basis while funds last. Click here to access the grant request form.
Hemang joined IBM as a professional hire in June 2000. Prior to joining IBM, Hemang worked as a consultant to IBM and other private companies and public organizations. During his college and early professional years, Hemang owned his own computer consulting company. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics.
During his first assignment at IBM, Hemang led worldwide teams in architecting and enabling web and caching technology for all IBM websites worldwide and played a crucial role in development of caching technologies. After instrumentation of web sites, he played a vital role in creation of Collaboration Center of Competence and enabling collaboration tools across IBM.
In last 9 years, Hemang has held several high profile technical and executive positions in serving IBM’s premier global clients with strategy and implementation of leading-erge technology.
In his current role since January 2014, Hemang is tasked to drive pro-active innovation to IBM’s North America clients. Hemang has worked with over 100 G clients in enablement of Innovation . This role has proved critical in our clients’ success both from growth revenue and competitiveness perspective.
