CS4RI is inviting Rhode Island K-12 computer science educators to apply for two paid opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year.

Core Team Ambassador ($5,000, 1 position): One K-12 teacher will serve as a paid ambassador on the CS4RI core team, joining bi-weekly meetings from October 2026 through June 2027 and contributing the classroom perspective to the team's planning and priorities. Additional responsibilities are listed on the application (linked below) for your review.

CS Standards Reviewer ($500 each, 10 positions): Ten K-12 teachers will review proposed updates to Rhode Island's state computer science standards. This involves two virtual meetings plus asynchronous review work during a defined window of time that will be TBD during the 2026-2027 school year based on availability.

Educators may apply for the Ambassador role, the Reviewer role, or indicate interest in both. The application will close on Friday, September 18th.
